My organization AIFS always organizes an orientation weekend in New York. The hotel was located in New Jersey, not far away from NY. It was very big and even had a pool! We spent a lot of time doing Workshops to prepare for our stay and learn more about the American culture. Also we did some sight seeing and we got to see the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Central Park, the UN headquarters, Hard Rock Cafe, Madame Tassauds, etc.
